EFIS or EIFS no matter, what it stands for is exterior insulation and finish systems or synthetic stucco or Dryvit or etc. etc.
With EFIS or EIFS has come problems and concerns of moisture intrusion into the system.

Well the only way to ever tell is to have an experienced EFIS or EIFS inspector to test your home because I have yet to see a applicator, builder, termite inspector, or realtor with x-ray vision to check wall cavities.
